Anatomy of the format
These videos follow a strict grammar, and breaking it costs views. The card appears first and holds long enough to read the title. The voice starts immediately — no music-only intro. Captions run the entire time, because a good half of the audience has the sound off. The background moves constantly and means nothing.

Write it, or have it drafted
Give the AI a topic — “roommate ate my leftovers, chaos ensued” — and it drafts a subreddit, a title in the AITA voice, and a body of the right length for a short. Drafting is free, so cycling through five angles costs nothing but the seconds it takes to read them.
Everything stays editable: subreddit name, title, body, theme, upvote and comment counts. Set numbers that look plausible for the sub you are imitating — implausible round numbers are the usual tell.
On using real Reddit posts
Worth being direct about this, because it is the question that gets skipped. A Reddit post is the author’s copyrighted work; the platform licence is not yours to sublicense. Channels do lift posts verbatim, and channels do get struck for it.
The safer path — and usually the better-performing one — is generated or original stories in the same style, which is what Vidsy is built to produce. If you do adapt something real, rewrite it substantially and credit the author.

Does Vidsy scrape posts from Reddit?
No. It generates original stories in that style, or renders text you write. Scraping other people’s posts creates a copyright problem we would rather you not have.
Can I control how long the card stays on screen?
Yes. The card is a clip on the Format track — drag it to move it, resize it to change how long it holds.
Light or dark card?
Both. Dark tends to sit better over bright gameplay footage; light reads more like a genuine screenshot.
What does this format cost?
